Goodbye to our dear "Village People" and other friends

This is the first and probably not the last post I'm going to write in English... because since we're leaving Marina del Rey, we'll be posting for our friends we are leaving behind over here.
First of all we want to thank our dearest friends here from our little "gang":
Nancy, Tamzen, Snjezana, Jeff, Jeff and Puska for all the nice moments we had together.
We were very fortunate that we got to know you all. Each of you another personality, yet so good to be around with. We will never forget you.... never, because how could you forget people that you think about as being brothers and sisters.

We had such a good time together: moments of joy, moments of sadness... but is that not what true friendship is about? We really had a connection.... and we hope that distance will not take that away! It was such fun to be around all of you, we just can not say that enough.

Of course there were others who made it fun to live in Mariners Village: people like our good neighbours Susan and Buddy, Carl and Svetlana, Anthony and his girlfriend, Paul, Martine (Dutch couple) and Michiel, Catherine and Karine, Corby and so many others we probably forget to mention here.
A special thank you also goes to the nice people working for Security at Mariners Village, people like Georges, Efrain and Mell... Always a smile on their face and helpfull in any way they could be.

All these people made a big difference in our stay here in the US.

Outside Mariners Village we had to say goodbye to Gaby (my German friend) and her husband Masoud, to other parents from 5th grade who are such great people. Alain had to say goodbye to his colleagues... and I'm sure that was not an easy one for him either.

Axelle wants her Village-kids to know that she loves them and will never forget about them...

It will be fun to see how each of them grows into a wonderfull person!

So... THANKS TO ALL OF YOU WE'VE HAD 2 WONDERFULL YEARS IN AMERICA GUYS....

Hope to see you in Belgium one day.... because like they say in Spanish: Mi casa es su casa!
Our door is wide open... we can not wait to have you over and show you our country.

LOVE YOU ALL...
